Masakatsu

Under the influence of his grandfather, he started the Tsugaru shamisen at a young age ​and began composing music as a teenager. Masakatsu has won awards in numerous ​Tsugaru shamisen competitions. He has appeared in NHK's Japanese music programs, ​performed music for TV and commercials, and also composed music for plays and stages. ​In 2011, Masakatsu won the Japan First Finals Jury Special Prize. Over the years, he has ​performed abroad in many countries, such as the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, ​China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Russia, Mongolia, Kenya, Thailand, and more. At the Moscow ​Conservatory in Russia, he succeeded in his first solo concert as a Tsugaru shamisen ​player, "Heartbeat of Tsugaru". While playing the shamisen for classical folk songs, he has ​a wide range of music in many genres such as rock, jazz, pop, Latin music, and others. He ​has been praised by many critics and appreciated by fellow musicians for his versatility ​as a shamisen player.

Filip Pogády　

At age 11, held his first solo recital with an orchestra. He has been praised by many media outlets for "his beautiful sound", "superb technique," "powerful performance," and more. After receiving a musical education in Vienna, he moved to New York and continues his career as a concert violinist. Received a scholarship to Manhattan School of Music for his post graduate and stayed on to perform widely in and out of the US. He has performed in some of the most renowned concert venues in the world including Lincoln Center (New York), Rudolphinum (Prague), Konzerthaus (Vienna), Tel Aviv Opera House, Lotte Hall (Seoul), and Seoul Arts Center. Most recently, he toured in Japan in two cities, Kamakura and Natori, released the CD of the concert live in Kamakura. With the successful debut concert in Japan, he will be back to Japan in 2024.

Margaret has performed extensively throughout the world and has performed with some of the world’s leading orchestras and performers. She has performed to an audience of 35,000 in a special International Lakeside Proms concert and was one of the chosen artists from throughout the World, which also included Andrea Bocelli and Aretha Franklin, to perform for Pope Francis in a special concert for his visit to the USA in 2015. The concert was broadcast worldwide to an audience of 1.5million. She has also performed on several TV broadcasts including BBC Songs of Praise, The BBC Proms and on PBS American TV specials.

Margaret made her debut in the Royal Albert Hall in December 2015 in “Christmas with stars” produced by BBC Radio 2 and the TV Times.

Margaret has been traveling and performing extensively not only in European cities but appeared in the US, at the renown Carnegie Hall and many others. She was highly honoured to perform for HRH Prince of Wales Foundation Concert for Children and Arts, which was aired to an audience of 5million on Classic Fm and Sky Arts.

Margaret’s high-profile performances have made a great impact on the world of classical music and thus prompted her appointment as the only Irish Ambassador for HRH Prince Of Wales Foundation for Children and Arts.

Johan De Meij 　

Award-winning composer and conductor with oeuvre of original compositions, symphonic transcriptions, and film score arrangements. John De Meij has garnered international acclaim and have become permanent fixtures in the repertoire of renowned ensembles throughout the world. His Symphony No. 1 The Lord of the Rings was awarded the prestigious Sudler Composition Prize and has been recorded by myriad ensembles including The London Symphony Orchestra, The North Netherlands Orchestra, The Nagoya Philharmonic and The Amsterdam Wind Orchestra. His Symphony No. 2 The Big Apple, Symphony No. 3 Planet Earth, Symphony No. 4 Sinfonie der Lieder as well as his solo concertos, T-Bone Concerto (trombone), UFO Concerto (euphonium) and Casanova (cello) have been enthusiastically received at many of the world’s finest venues.

He is in high demand as a guest conductor and lecturer. In 2010, he was appointed regular guest conductor of the Simón Bolívar Youth Wind Orchestra in Caracas, Venezuela – part of the celebrated Venezuelan educational system El Sistema. Currently, with both the New York Wind Symphony and the Kyushu Wind Orchestra in Fukuoka, Japan as their principal guest conductor; Johan is founder and CEO of his own publishing company Amstel Music, established in 1989.

Born in Netherland, 1953, received his musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague, where he studied trombone and conducting.
